In this fun, interactive yoga class you will gain strength, confidence, and flexibility each week. The poses will be taught in a simple manner with easy terms for you to understand. I have completed a certification for yoga for children. I am currently enrolled in training for adults as well through Yoga Renew to get my full certification with the Yoga Alliance. I have been practicing yoga for about four years, and have brought my own children along for the journey. Before COVID, I taught children's yoga in person in a studio. I really enjoy being able to lead yoga to children around the world through Outschool for almost two years so far.
I have been trained in children's yoga in a way that helps to prevent injury prevention, however, even when children and teens are properly supervised during exercise, there is a chance of potential injury. Please be advised of such potential harm, and always ask a doctor if you are not sure if a particular exercise or program is appropriate for your child. Do not allow your child to do any exercise that puts weight on their head or neck, and make sure that they have the proper space to move around.
