Beginner - Advanced レベル向け

This private 1:1 class will give learners the opportunity to properly review, practice academic French vocabulary and pronunciation on a weekly basis.  Class is also suitable for homework assistance, test preparation and refresh, conversational and writing practice.    

Classes will focus on instructing or refining French skills, with a focus on: 

 ✨ French grammar and pronunciation
 ✨ French reading comprehension and oral reading development
 ✨ Building confidence through French listening and level appropriate conversation

My teaching style is:

✨ focus on having fun with French

Goals for this class:
 
✨ To develop and expand upon existing French skills.  The lesson plan for this private class will be learner directed and based on their current level and knowledge of French.  Content will be individualized and personalized to each learner and their learning needs or goals. 


✨ Learners to the private tutor session will be asked to provide any homework requests they wish to work on (as applicable) prior to scheduled time to maximize class time.

The individualized approach will provide support and give the learner the chance to expand on more French grammar concepts with drills, practice and contextualizing their school homework  expand upon their French school lessons to deepen understanding

As needed, learners will be taught core French language essentials including numbers, letters, verbs to set learner up for success to "speak" more in French

I 've  taught consistently on the Outschool platform since 2020 with my primary focus on French instruction for all levels.  I offer 1:1 classes,  group class learning with Immersive French and conversational classes.    Teaching French is what I love to do and I will bring warmth, enthusiasm and fun to the classroom with an opportunity for students to interact, learn and feel comfortable as we learn.

During day, my role as community relations leader in healthcare brings me the joy and opportunity to teach, mentor and see learners of all ages develop every day.   I look forward to offering leadership classes in the near future.

I've taught well over 3,500 English & French classes.   My path to French started in kindergarten as a child in French Immersion.  I eventually pursued my Honours Bachelor's degree in French Studies and Communications.  I have spoken French for over 25 years.  I am fully bilingual and have tutored all ages -- from children to adults.   I also hold my TESOL certification.  

My experience is varied and allows me to bring well-rounded perspective from sports and fitness, hospitality, broadcast media, non-profit and healthcare.  I will bring this perspective to my lessons to help students apply and learn new things.  

MY SUPERPOWERS ARE : helping people succeed and including fun, original songs to make French language learning relatable.  

I am a passionate teacher willing to help and support students in a practical way.  My approach will be to help students connect the dots and make online learning fun and engaging! 

My goal is to bring my creativity, enthusiasm and big SMILES to the classroom to help engage and support your child to learn, feel inspired and gain confidence. 

Some of my passions include travelling (to France of course), writing, cooking and podcasting.
