どちらを選びますか? - OT による高学年の生徒向けの手書き練習

I am excited to introduce a handwriting class designed specifically for my older learners.  This class is for students ages 11-14 year olds.  All of my handwriting classes are based on the Handwriting Without Tears letter formations and the Size Matters Handwriting Program. For this class we will focus primarily on overall legibility with occasional review of a letter formation when I believe it helpful. 

At the beginning of each class I will review my three "Handwriting Rules"- Size, Spacing, and Line Placement.  We will then identify legibility errors on a prewritten sentence before beginning our game.

Each week we will play a game of 'Would You Rather'. Learners will write their choice to each question while focusing on handwriting legibility.  After each question, I will review each learner’s handwriting and provide feedback as they share their choice with the class.

My classes are focused on having fun while doing something that is extremely hard for a lot of learners. I am very relaxed and, at times, silly.  I tailor my feedback to each student's ability and my focus is more on strengths than weaknesses. 

I maintain a quick pace and I ask that my learners keep their cameras on with no blurred backgrounds (to allow me the ability to see the paper).
