Come and join us as we take a look at the life, amazing career and style of Ella Fitzgerald. We will listen to some of her biggest hits and watch clips from some of her performances and films.  The first 30-40 minutes of the class will consist of a powerpoint presentation that will include a detailed look at her childhood, education, travels. We will examine her philosophy, friends, and her influence on the music industry.  The last 10-15 minutes of class will be an open discussion of what we have learned and answer any questions that the students may have.
