In the final session, they'll review everything they’ve learned through a mini project to apply their new skills.

An introduction to what Python is and what makes it a valuable skill to learn. We also dive into the very basic functions and data types of Python. The students will learn how to manipulate a program’s control flow, which is the order in which the program’s code executes, using boolean operations, conditional statements, and loops. Turtle graphics is a popular way of introducing programming to students. The students program the computer to draw on the screen to make all kinds of different shapes.
