This will be a mixed class. The first half we will discuss the chapters of the book we read and that will be followed by a look into the history and lore of Sea Monsters from different cultures and times throughout the world. If your students can access a secondary device like a smartphone or tablet during the first part of class to complete a Kahoot trivia quiz that we will do for each section of the book that would be helpful. This is a series I have enjoyed reading alongside my own children and am excited to have the opportunity to present this to other learners now.

I will post one activity for the students to complete before each class. It is a fun and engaging activity that should not take a lot of their time.
