このクラスで学べること
Beginning with story time, I will read "What's Your Angle, Pythagoras?: A Math Adventure" by Julie Ellis. Then with an angle video clip, we will examine the importance of mathematical angles. We will discuss what right, obtuse, and acute angles are, why they are formed, what is the Pythagorean theorem and why it is important to understand it. Students will then be asked to find angles in the room around them and using the worksheet provided, students will find the degree measurements of angles using the Pythagorean theorem. Finally, I will provide a link enrichment activity for after class to continue the study of angles. This is a great introduction into angles and the Pythagorean theorem, or a good review, for anyone who needs it.

I have tutored privately and through well-known organizations; taught in the public school classroom setting with a self-contained classroom (including 4th grade and Texas History); substituted and interned in private school classroom settings; instructed at the community college level (History); assisted with museum operations; and homeschooled my three munchkins.
