Join my fun writing class, made specifically for beginner writers - elementary students (grades 1-3). Each week, your child will explore various forms of writing and develop essential writing skills through engaging lessons and playful exercises. Each class will include: Check-In: Brief questions or fun sharing Warm-Up Activity: Engaging game, quiz, or creative exercise Lecture/Instruction: Present the main concept or rule with examples Guided Practice: Practice the new concept with support Independent Writing: Students write sentences or a short paragraph independently Sharing and Feedback: Share work, provide feedback, and reinforce learning Writing schedule: April 28–May 4: Nouns May 5–11: Verbs May 12–18: Subject/verb agreement May 19–25: Punctuation May 26–June 1: Forming complete sentences
