I will post the materials in the classroom one week before each class. **If you register after the weekly message is posted, you may not be able to see it in the classroom. I try my best to email the list to new students before their first class, depending on how last minute they register.

Materials are usually easy to find household items.

I also recommend students bring a notebook or folder with paper so they may record their findings each week!

If you are ever missing any of the materials, just let me know! There are always alternatives, or you can simply watch the activities and still enjoy the class!


Week of May 12: Cooking Concoction 
Information: We will be "cooking" but will not need to use a stove/oven.
The students should bring a bowl and spoon, measuring cups and spoons, and any of the following ingredients they would like.
Choose a few dry ingredients, such as:
Oats
Cereal
Sugar
Chocolate chips/small candies
Nuts/seed/raisins

Choose at least one sticky ingredient, like:
Syrup
Nut butter
Honey
Chocolate spread

Some of the challenges may require the use of scissors or possibly a hot glue gun and will require parental supervision. I will always indicate this in the classroom.
