In this private group, art learners are directed by choosing one art project from my class list for a small group, private lesson or by sending me a picture when you enroll for a pet portrait. There are over 300 art project choices! This is a wonderful class for homeschool groups. private groups or fun art parties! You can choose one class or make it ongoing. Please contact me before enrolling if you need a set amount of classes, a different time or have more learners attending. Discounts for 2 or more learners may be available.

We will be learning to draw the subject and background if needed and use graphite, watercolor, acrylic or pastels to shade/color it. We will break down the subject into simple shapes, refine our drawing, and render a beautiful work of art!

Art Techniques and Mediums:
**Drawing techniques will cover sketching, shading, blending, erasing for highlights and mark making as needed for the specific project.
**Watercolor painting techniques will cover wet on dry, dry brush, wet on wet, lifting color for mistakes and effects, washes and layers as needed for the project. 
**Acrylic painting techniques will cover mixing colors on the palette and canvas, gradients, impasto, and glazing as needed for the specific project.
**Oil pastel classes will include techniques such as blending, layering and texturizing paintings.
**Opportunities to use different art mediums like gel pens, paint pens, markers, colored pens, etc.

Lessons will be in a "work with me format" with visual and audio step-by-step instructions. I will show my finished work at the start of class as an example along with the supplies needed to create it. Art freedom and fun will be emphasized in a relaxed setting. The learner will be encouraged to add their creative personal touches to their work. I will offer a sharing event at the end of the class and/or I will encourage the learners to upload their finished work to the classroom after it dries to share with everyone.
