In this ongoing class, learners in K-3 receive 1:1 private tutoring sessions tailored to their individual strengths and needs. These sessions may be used to help fill in learning gaps for learners who find math difficult or to enrich and challenge a learner who is strong in math. I use many math games, storytelling techniques, and humor combined with my 25+ years of experience working with K-3 learners to make learning fun while also growing their confidence to take on complex mathematical tasks and questions. When registering for tutoring sessions, please message me to let me know specific math concepts and topics that are challenging for your child. If your child has specific interests (i.e. a specific sport, cartoon character, etc.), mention that as well as I can often use this to create more interesting word problems and games for our time together.
