Is your child struggling to speak Vietnamese? Or do you want them to learn a new language?

Group classes are a great benefit for children to learn from one another, act as each other's role model and develop social skills. 

In this weekly course, students will learn basic vocabulary and sentences based on weekly themes. Classes will include visuals, games, drawings, and even show and tell. Every student will have a chance to practice and work on their pronunciation. Students will have time to interact socially. 
After this class, students will gain an interest in Vietnamese!

Students can join starting from any week. 
New group sessions will need a minimum of two learners to start the class.

1 on 1, sibling classes are also available. 

Worksheets will be provided every class for students to use in class and after class. (If printing is not possible please bring a blank sheet of paper)

No prior knowledge of Vietnamese is needed. 
Class will be in both English and Vietnamese.

MEET OUR TEACHER:

TEACHER KHANH👧
ABOUT: 
Teacher Khanh was born and raised in the vibrant city of Hanoi, Vietnam, and moved to Canada in 2018. She is fluent in both Vietnamese and English and is currently based in Edmonton, Alberta. Teacher Khanh is passionate about making language learning fun and engaging. She is committed to helping students build confidence as they learn Vietnamese in a warm and supportive environment.

CREDENTIALS: 
⭐ Bachelor of Science with Honors in Biochemistry from the University of Alberta
⭐ More than 5 years of experience tutoring and coaching students from diverse backgrounds and needs


TEACHING STYLE: 
👩‍🏫 She focuses on practical approach with an emphasis on exercise and spaced repetition
👩‍🏫 She believes learning can be and should be fun
👩‍🏫 She always makes an effort to get to know her students and customize teaching materials based on their interests and hobbies to make concepts more memorable and relatable

ENROLLMENT DETAILS: 

When learners can't attend class, there are a few options:
🔔 Most students will keep their subscription and can watch the recording for that week and complete the worksheet when they have time.
🔔 If the teacher offers other sections, you can switch to another section. However, your spot will not be saved in your original section.
🔔 You can pause the class. However, Outschool cannot save your spot. (Outschool charges every Sunday for the coming week's classes.)

No refunds or credits are available, except in emergencies. Please contact Outschool support for assistance.

Occasionally, the scheduled teacher for this class may be unavailable, and a trained substitute from our organization will step in. Only teachers who are fully trained to teach this class will serve as substitutes.

If a substitute will be teaching, a message will be posted in the Outschool classroom before the class takes place. If your learner prefers not to attend with a substitute, I’m happy to offer a refund. Simply send me a message, and I will process it for you.
