Welcome to "Weekly Fun Beginners’ Chinese Conversation Club"—a playful and engaging Mandarin class designed for young learners. In this ongoing course, students will explore beginner Mandarin vocabulary through fun weekly themes such as animals, colors, family, food, holidays, and more. Each lesson is carefully structured to build confidence in speaking, listening, and pronunciation. In each 30-minute session, students will learn 5–10 new Mandarin words or simple phrases through themed topics. The class follows a consistent structure to help learners feel comfortable and confident: • Warm-Up: Greetings and short review of previous vocabulary • Introduction of New Words: Taught using colorful slides and real-life visuals • Practice Time: Through games, movement, repetition, and songs • Interactive Activities: Show and tell, drawing, or matching games related to the theme • Wrap-Up: Quick review and goodbye song Every child will have the chance to speak, repeat, and engage actively throughout the class. I use a warm and encouraging teaching style, ensuring each student feels seen and heard. Lessons are interactive, —I encourage natural conversation, movement, and expression. This class is great for both total beginners and children who have had some exposure to Mandarin.
