Have you ever heard of the summer slide? Studies show students lose over 2 1/2 months of math learning during summer break. This weekly class will help to keep your learner's math skills sharp for the upcoming school year. In this class, we will review key topics and problem areas for students that have completed sixth grade level mathematics in preparation for seventh grade.  Each class will consist of a lesson taught via Google slides and lots of opportunities for student practice. When the opportunity arises, I use games to integrate fun with student learning. Students do not need to attend from our first session; they are welcome to join in any week! Content only builds in the sense that math skills build, but each lesson is taught as a "fresh" topic.

Week of July 15: Measurements of a Circle (Radius, Diameter, Circumference, Area)
Week of July 22:  Adding Positive & Negative Integers
Week of July 29: Subtracting Positive & Negative Integers
Week of Aug 5: Multiplying & Dividing Positive & Negative Integers
Week of Aug 12:Probability 
Week of Aug 19: Percent: Finding Sales Tax
