Do you love writing? If not, I hope you will after you take this course! We will explore writing personal narrative, informational non-fiction, opinion or persuasive and fantasy writing. You will be provided with a safe and engaging learning environment. We will go in depth each day with a different genre of writing as outlined below: Day 1 - Personal Narrative; We Are Authors! Day 2 - Informational; We Are Experts! Day 3 - Fantasy; We Are Dreamers! Day 4 - Opinion; We Are Persuaders! We will talk about setting writing goals as we end the week.

Students will gain understanding of the 4 genres of writing; narrative, information, fantasy and opinion. They will apply strategies to produce a quality writing sample for each genre.
