夏が近づいてきましたので、この 1 回限りのクラスに参加して、水と水泳の安全に関する楽しいレッスンを受けましょう。クラスでは、読み聞かせ、歌、ゲームなどが行われます。

As sunny weather approaches, this class will get young learners thinking about water and swimming safety in a fun way! We'll begin with a fun game, follow with the read-aloud "Stewie the Duck Learns to Swim" which also includes discussion prompts for young learners throughout, and finish by learning the water safety song! If you would like to make sure your child's life jacket fits properly, have it nearby and there will be time at the end of class for them to try it on have the fit evaluated, as I am also a child injury prevention specialist!

Students will demonstrate understanding of the importance of always having a grown-up nearby when in/around water, and always wearing a life vest when swimming.

While the depth and details of water/swimming safety in this class are entirely appropriate for young learners, parents are encouraged to continue to discuss water safety with their children as it applies to them; it is not suggested that this class be the only water safety lesson your child has.
