Week 1
Lesson 1
Introductions, basic watercolor techniques, and warm ups. 
Each learner will be asked what their goal for taking the class is. I will check in with learners to see if their goals are being met. We will go over various watercolor techniques water control, wet-on-wet, wet on dry, gradient, and color blending. Learners will also learn about warm ups to help them warm up their hands. These techniques and warm ups are great for learners to have in their tool box so they can access them anytime they are painting!
 Week 2
Lesson 2
Learners will learn about color theory
Learners will delve into the principles of color theory, understanding how colors interact and influence design. They will also explore composition techniques, learning how to arrange elements for maximum impact and visual harmony. By mastering these fundamentals, students will enhance their skills in creating compelling and engaging visual artworks.
 Week 3
Lesson 3
Explore the uniqueness of nature
We will look at various pictures of plants and explore their unique shapes and colors. Learners will be guided through painting techniques for pots, leaves, and flowers, mastering the art of botanical illustration.
 Week 4
Lesson 4
Explore Art Styles Using Watercolor
We will explore 3 different styles that learners can explore using watercolor. 
 Week 5
Lesson 5
Create your first project
Using the knowledge of our previous lessons we will create our first project. 
 Week 6
Lesson 6
Learners will work on their 2nd project 
If time permits learners will have the opportunity to share their projects if they wish and to talk about what they learned along the way
