In this class, we will work on skills for voice acting. We will start with a warm-up of our voice as well as some vocal improvisation and other vocal games. Then we will learn a bit about the topic and work on activities/projects relating to the voice lesson of the day. Students will be actively engaged in practicing their material and learning skills such as dialects, correct pronunciation, and characterization. Virtual Performing Arts Academy prides itself in being a kind and supportive performing arts studio where everyone is valued and welcome. This class is for beginners and those with experience. Students will be active in voice activities throughout the class. Here is a sample schedule: April 3-9 Using our Natural Voice April 10-16 Voice for Animation April 17-23 Voice for Audiobooks April 24-30 Voice for Video Games May 1-7 Reading Stories May 8-14 Podcasts May 15-21 Creating Commercials May 22-29 Voice for Tik Tok and Social Media May 30-June 6: Vocal Dialects
