In this class, students will learn how to singing healthfully and with their best voice. The class ratio is 1:1. Exercises and song choices will be tailored to the individual needs of the each student. Each week will build on material and skills learned in previous lessons. Students will spend time in class using technique building exercises and songs, either chosen by the teacher or suggested by the student, to apply the skills learned in the lesson to performance. Dr. Cynthia has 20+ years of one-on-one voice lesson teaching experience with students ages 9 and up. She has taught voice in the USA and India. She holds three music degrees in vocal music, including a Doctorate in Vocal Performance. Her former students have earned roles in musical productions, gained entrance into 6-12 School of Arts programs, placed in international voice competitions, completed Masters programs in voice, and hold successful full-time careers in music. She has performed in the USA, Austria, India, and Switzerland. Currently, Dr. Cynthia, a mezzo-soprano, performs professionally as a soloist and chorister.

The student will receive individualized written feedback after every class meeting.成績が提供されます
The learner will need space to stand away from the webcam to be seen from the waist up for exercises. Musical scores for songs will need to be purchased if not in the public domain. Individual scores generally cost between $5-$6.50 USD. Song anthologies may be recommended for purchase if a learner is interested in a particular genre of music. It is possible to have lessons using only musical scores in the public domain (free).
