In this one-on-one math tutoring class, lessons will be designed around what your student needs help with, in Elementary mathematics. Before our first tutoring session, I will communicate with parents/guardians through email to discuss the area(s) of math the student is struggling with. Using the information collected from parents/guardians and aligning this information with your student's current mathematic grade-level standards, I will design a lesson that address the areas of weakness your student is struggling with.

This individualized tutoring experience is tailored to meet your student's areas of weakness in mathematics, helping to build a strong foundation for future academic experiences. 

We will use structed learning time in this class. During this time students will be shown math skills, be able to practice these skills with the teacher's assistance and the student will be given time to complete examples independently to show comprehension of the topic. If time allows, I always try to incorporate a beneficial math game for students to complete in class with me, if they finish all their work by the end of class.
