Each class session will include discusion, slide presentation, note-taking, and occasionally video clips. There will also be reading assigned with homework and unit guides to enforce learning. By the end of the 25 weeks, the students will be able to complete a summative exam and understand US history from colonization til present.

This course will address sensitive topics, including wars, colonization, the mistreatment of Indigenous peoples, slavery, and other significant issues relevant to American history. To foster a deeper understanding of these complex subjects, I will incorporate first-hand accounts whenever possible, providing personal perspectives that illuminate the experiences of those directly affected by these events.

No prerequisite is needed as this includes a complete overview of US history.

Printer for guided notes, unit guides, and homework that will be given. The tests for each unit will be given in Google form, and the summative test will be a PDF.
