My BA is in History, Political Science and Secondary Education, and my MA is in American Studies. I have several years of experience teaching high school and college students, and have spent the last 4 years teaching United States history, U.S. Government, World History, Human Geography, and Current Events classes in person to homeschooled high school students who are part of a homeschool support group that I founded. I feel strongly that students learn and connect to subject matter material when they can connect it to their daily lives. I strive to help students understand the "so what" about all types of social science subjects.
