This will be a fun, hands-on, engaging intro to chemistry class for children from the ages of 7-10 years old. Children will be learning the basics of chemistry and then taking a hands-on approach and creating the experiments in their homes while learning the science behind it! The students will be able to make educated predictions (hypotheses) and observe what occurs in each experiment. Students will be able to discuss what they are seeing, smelling, and feeling. The students will be drawing,...
Students will be true scientists understanding the basic elements of chemistry, gaining knowledge with chemistry vocabulary, and having a fun, hands-on, engaging experience.
I minored in chemistry and have extensive knowledge in the subject matter. I also have incorporated chemistry over the past 10 years while working with students. Other training/education I have are Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts and Photography minor in Chemistry, AMS Montessori Teaching Certificate, M. Ed in Global perspective, and ABAR Training.
宿題が提供されます
Some experiments will be started in class and then over the two days apart will require careful observation from the students. For those experiments, I will ask if the students can write or draw in their scientific journals what they are observing.授業以外に週あたり 0 時間の学習が期待されます
評価が提供されます
I will be informally assessing the students on their knowledge and what they have gained from the class.成績が提供されます
