In this engaging and beginner-friendly course, students will learn the basics of game development by creating their very own farming game in Unity. Students will use: - The Unity game engine https://unity3d.com/get-unity/download - The interactive development environment, Visual Studio https://code.visualstudio.com/download - Art and Assets provided by me Install Unity before the class starts, since it will help us focus on development. Don’t hesitate to contact me if there are any issues or questions with the installation process. To install Unity: - Install Unity Hub: a way to manage different downloaded versions of Unity - Sign into Unity with Google or create a Unity ID - Go back to Unity Hub and go to the installs tab on the left. - Click the “Install Editor” button for the latest 2022 release (right now its 2022.3.54)
