🚨 Prerequisite: Students must attend a beginner-level typing class before enrolling in this intermediate-level course. This 4-lesson Level 2 typing class is designed to strengthen muscle memory, improve accuracy and speed, and introduce techniques for more challenging keys. Students will continue to build a strong foundation for proper touch typing through guided practice, interactive exercises, and personalized feedback. Accuracy & Proper Technique Are Our #1 Priority! This course includes: ✔ Short lectures to reinforce typing concepts ✔ Live demonstrations of correct finger placement and movement ✔ Individual typing practice to apply skills and track progress Who Should Take This Class? ✅ Students who have completed the beginner-level typing course and have prior knowledge of proper technique and finger placement ✅ Students with some keyboard experience who want to refine their skills and improve typing efficiency Required Skills for Enrollment: 🔹 Recognize all 26 letters of the English alphabet (uppercase and lowercase) 🔹 Understand that letters form words, and words form sentences 🔹 Basic understanding of sentence structure (capitalization, spaces between words, punctuation) 🔹 Note: Learners do not need to be fluent readers. Images will accompany typing exercises, and the teacher will read words and sentences aloud for guidance. T E C H N O L O G Y R E Q U I R E M E N T S: 💻 A laptop or desktop computer is REQUIRED for typing practice. Tablets are not supported. This class will help students develop confidence, speed, and precision in their typing skills while reinforcing proper technique for long-term success! 🚀 📌 Camera Policy: To ensure proper typing technique and provide accurate feedback, cameras must remain on for the duration of class. This allows me to observe hand positioning, posture, and key usage to support your progress. If accommodations are needed, please contact me before class. Teacher will wait in the classroom for 10 minutes on students to arrive.

Young learners often require adult assistance when using a computer and keyboard. This class utilizes EduTyping.com, a secure school-based typing platform. Each student will receive a unique, unidentifiable username and password before class. These credentials are private and known only to the teacher, parent, and student for security purposes.
This class also incorporates Gimkit, Blooket, and YouTube to enhance engagement through interactive learning, typing challenges, and educational videos. Parental supervision may be needed to assist learners in navigating these platforms. A PDF guide with setup instructions will be sent upon enrollment to help parents.
