This class will focus on the reading, writing, listening, and speaking goals that go along with writing expectations for ELA. The topics that will be covered are flexible for each student. This tutoring class can focus on the following topics: reading fiction, reading nonfiction, annotating, pre-reading, close reading, research, analyzing texts, argumentative writing, argumentative speeches, analyzing conflicting texts, informative writing, informative speeches, persuasive writing, persuasive speeches, analytical writing, public speaking, and note taking.
