Intermediate レベル向け
The students will build on previously learned concepts from our "Beginner Trumpet" class and advance his/her knowledge and range on the trumpet. They will learn a series of new songs, notes above the octave, accidentals (shaprs, # and flats, b) and how non diatonic notes work in a song. Some of the songs that they will learn may include: Over the Rainbow, Auld Lang Syne, Jurassic Park Theme and others.

Week 1: Strengthening our basics
This Lesson is about building on the previously learned material from Lesson 5 of Beginner Trumpet. This includes but is not limited to: Notes C thru G and High C, Songs: Hot Cross Buns, Ode to Joy, Star Wars Theme. We will learn the remainder of the C Major Scale C-D-E-F-G-A-B-C, ascending and descending and do exercises to strengthen knowledge and use of this scale. 45 分のオンラインライブレッスン

Week 2: Utilizing the Major Scale
This Lesson we will build on previously learned concepts and begin to use all of the notes in the C Major Scale. The song I have chosen for this week is: Over the Rainbow 45 分のオンラインライブレッスン

Week 3: Extending above the 1 Octave C Major Scale.
This Lesson we will build on previously learned concepts and begin playing above High C. We will focus on the D note above C and play the Song: Auld Lang Syne. 45 分のオンラインライブレッスン

Week 4: Adding Accidentals to the Major Scale
This Lesson we will learn how to add accidentals, sharps and flats, to the C Major Scale. These are known as Non-Diatonic Tones. The Song I chose for this exercise is Jurassic Park Theme. 45 分のオンラインライブレッスン

Students signing up for this class should have a basic understanding of playing the Trumpet, Embouchure, Breath Support, Notes C, D, E, F, G, and high C, Note and Rest Values: Whole, Half, Quarter and Eighth. See "Beginner Trumpet" if not.
