The goal of this class is for students to learn more about the expansion of the United States of America; as well as, the name, history, location (geography), geology, and uniqueness of each state in the United States of America.

I was a public elementary school teacher for over 17 years.  I have a BA in elementary education with a minor in history.  I love teaching all subjects but most of all, I love teaching young learners about the world around them.  I have a great love for history, nature and the great outdoors.  My parents were both educators (after them both having jobs working on farms, and in state parks) and instilled in me at a young age the love for traveling, the love for learning, the love for nature, and appreciating history.  I love sharing these same principles with others!
