This class will cover the basic third grade Reading/ Language standards that need to be taught. This class will also contain some review topics to build off of before the third-grade skills. topics: ask and answer questions summarizing characters setting sequence close read main idea/ key details text features problem/ solution compare/ contrast cause/ effect theme nonliteral meanings plot genres point of view This class is structured into 8 lessons that will cover the majority of the third grade Reading standards. This class is self-paced, but contains learner checkpoints to keep them on task. I can provide messages or additional videos if needed and I am always open to questions if more guidance or resources are needed!

Students will be able to accurately answer and analyze thrid grade Phonics and Reading concepts.The students will accurately and precisely learn strategies for comprehension and writing that will help them become independent in their work.

Syllable Types/ Related Words/ Shades of Meaning/ Spelling
I can identify and analyze the 6 syllable types. I can identify related words and use strategies to understand them (homophones/ synonyms/ antonyms). I can properly spell and find the syllables in a multisyllabic word. 1 割り当て

Context Clues/ roots, prefixes, suffixes/ Vocabulary
I can apply context clues when I do not know what an unknown word means. I can also decode a word based on it's position in a word (prefix, root, suffix). I can also pick a vocabulary word based off of the context of what a passage is presenting. 1 割り当て
レッスン 3:
Punctuation/ Capitalization/ Writing
I can choose the correct punctuation to go at the end of a sentence. I can also use the correct capitalization while writing. I can apply the writing process and apply explicit details in a paragraph. 1 割り当て
レッスン 4:
Ask and Answer Questions/ summarizing/ characters and setting/ sequence
I can ask/ answer questions about a given text- plot, characters, and setting. I can also learn to summarize a given passage using the retell method based off of the sequencing text structure. 1 割り当て

I am currently a third grade Reading, Langauge and Writing Teacher. I have several years of experience and have provided plenty of tutoring and coaching sessions. This will prepare and help kids get ready for those third grade standards today!
