Learners each week will learn about a pressing conservation topic, such as tiger-human conflict, deforestation in the Amazon, elephants and beehive fences, etc. For each class, learners will learn about the conservation topic, then as a group, we will discuss methods and outcomes of combatting these conservation conflicts. Learners will learn the problem-solving and critical thinking skills related to conservation and additionally will be encouraged to "think like a conservationist". The end goal is for students to feel encouraged to make change happen for the natural world! Week 1 (May 4th)- Beehive Fences to Combat Elephant Conflict Week 2 (May 13)- Tiger to Human Conflict in Nepal Week 3 (May 20)- Deforestation in Peru Week 4 (May 27)- Pangolin Trade
