This class will focus on Edgar Allan Poe’s famous poem, The Raven. During the session, learners will be encouraged to think critically and reach beyond the poem’s written words.

Our time together will begin with a brief welcome and introductions. We will then read the poem out loud. Finally, I will guide the students through a fun and interactive dialogue while we analyze the poem’s rhythm, meter, plot, geographical and historical setting, themes, imagery, symbolism, irony, allusion, foreshadowing, metaphors, and similes. At the conclusion of this discussion, the students should thoroughly understand the story.
