What will be taught? The Psychology of Observable behavior. What topics will I cover? -Classical Conditioning (How do we connect a sound with an action?) -Operant Conditioning (How does training our dog to sit relate to human behavior and incentives?) -Positive Reinforcement, Negative Reinforcement, Positive Punishment, Negative Punishment -The history of and the Psychologists behind observable behavior. -Examples of the work of these Psychologists. How is my class structured? -Direct instruction that is simple and straightforward for the learner. How will I teach? -Through direct instruction, reponsive evaluation from the learner, and lots of reinforcement/interactive retrieval. What's my teaching style? -Passionate, energetic, and understanding! Learners will get to interact with me through video, lecture, interactive retrieval practice, and note taking!

The students will learn how to connect a sound with a behavior, including how that connection applies to the outside world.The students will be able to identify positive reinforcement and give an example of one.
