In each weekly class, we will talk about the subject being taught (see topics below), how students can express themselves through a story, and then write a short story. Learning Goal: We will learn what it takes to write a story and how a story can come alive through even just one character. Students will learn how to be creative in their writing skills and proud of their work. We will look at what it takes to write a short story and then the students will write one and can read it in class or I can read it for them.
I have written short stories for children and performed and narrated stories. I have taught students for over thirty years from preschool to high school. I allow students to be creative and learn that every story counts.
