Come celebrate Christmas, Dunder Mifflin style by rewatching the Christmas episodes of "The Office" (American). Each week we will rewatch a Christmas episode of "The Office" and discuss it. Learners are welcome to wear their favorite Christmas outfits/sweaters. Each Christmas episode has a unique theme, we will be discussing the different themes each week. Learners will also learn fun facts about each episode. The last class will be a Blooket trivia class. During the class we will play "The Office" Christmas Blooket trivia games. If learners are shy but still want to join that is perfectly fine. They can check in on zoom camera then turn off camera and answer though chat if they prefer. Let's make it a party!!! "Cause there ain't no party like a Scranton party, cause a Scranton party don't stop."  


Below is a breakdown of what episodes will be discussed each class:

Class 1: Season Two Episode Ten "Christmas Party"

             The students will discuss their favorite moments from the episode, which character had the best gift and what are the rules of nasty Christmas/white elephant Christmas. We will also discuss the tea pot and what was in the note from Jim?

Class 2: Season Three Episode Ten "A Benihana Christmas"
     
              The students will discuss their favorite moments from the episode. We will also discuss the two different party planning committees.  


-- Watch Season Five Episode Ten "Moroccan Christmas" for next class. 

Class 3: Season Five Episode Ten "Moroccan Christmas"
     
              The students will discuss their favorite moments from the episode, the details of the Moroccan theme party and Phyllis' treatment and Angela. We will also discuss Angela verse Phyllis as head of the party planning committee.

Class 4: Season Six Episode Thirteen "Secret Santa"
 The students will discuss their favorite moments from the episode, which character had the best costume and thoughts on Robert California's story. Students will learn interesting facts. There are also trivia questions. Students can also talk about their costumes if they choose to wear them.

The students will discuss their favorite moments from the episode, Michael Scott's last Christmas at Dunder Mifflin and what makes a party classy.

 Class 6: Season Eight Episode Ten "Christmas Wishes" 
 
The students will discuss their favorite moments from the episode, how is Andy's Christmas party different then Michael's Christmas party and what would be your Christmas wish to Andy.

 Class 7: Season Nine Episode Nine "Dwight Christmas"
 
The students will discuss their favorite moments from the episode, would you want a Dwight Christmas party and what kind of party would you throw if you were in charge of the office party. 

Class 8: The last class will a Blooket trivia game with questions coming from all 7 Christmas episodes of "The Office."   Blooket is a fun game that ask learners trivia questions and the learners earn tokens to spend on upgrading their character. The trivia questions are used to test their office knowledge. Blooket is free but learners need an account to participate. You can sign up for an account at: https://www.blooket.com/   You can also play as a guest but will not earn Blooket Tokens. Please have your learner sign up for Blooket before class starts. I can help you set up your account if you need me to.
