Students will improve their understand of what the gold rush was, where it started, and what was left behind, ghost towns.

I have had an interest in western history since I was a child. My great-uncles worked on the shows Wagon Train and Laramie among others providing horses, wagons and stuntmen. My goal in college was to teach history. I was also a docent at the Gene Autry Western Heritage Museum in the mid- 1990's. 

I went to college to teach middle and high school English and History. I have taught full-time, substitute taught all grades, and volunteered at the Autry museum in L.A.
