In this ongoing book club, students will meet with other readers once a week to discuss the Babysitters Club graphic novel series. Before coming to class each week, students should have read (or partially read) that week's graphic novel (see schedule below). Each class will begin with a discussion prompt that relates to the broader theme or message of this week's novel. Then we will use that discussion prompt to springboard into a lively discussion about the weekly assigned Babysitter's Club graphic novel. Class will end with introducing next week's book and any predictions we might have based on the title. Reading Schedule (CST) June 9 - Kristy's Great Idea June 16 - The Truth About Stacey June 23 - Mary Anne Saves the Day June 30 - Claudia and Mean Janine July 7 - No Class July 14 - Dawn and the Impossible Three July 21 - Kristy's Big Day July 28 - Boy-Crazy Stacey (Future dates/books TBA)
