This class is a private one-on-one tutoring class for English as a Second Language. In this ongoing course, students will gain skills in speaking, reading, listening, grammar, phonics, and pronunciation. I will select from my course curriculum materials based on the individual student's needs. Students will learn new words and how to say them. We will review the letters of the English alphabet. We will read stories and discuss their meaning. Young learners will increase their understanding of grammar and ability to string sentences together by saying new phrases. American culture will also be a topic of conversation in my private tutoring lessons. We will discuss movies, games, sports, and cultural practices such as songs and holidays.
