Do you struggle with math story problems or math tasks? Need help figuring out what a math problem is asking you to do? In this one-time math class, students will learn strategies to help them solve a variety of math story problems using addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and multiple operations. Students will learn how to breakdown a story problem to identify what they know and what they need to find. Students will learn how to make a plan to solve a math problem. Students will learn how to write a complete answer. Students will practice explaining their math process verbally and in written form.
I have had training in teaching Eureka Math/Engage NY math curriculum.
