If you love space and want to learn more about planets, this is the class for you! Learners can bring a planet toy or picture of a planet to class so that share with others. Learners will begin class with a fun song about the planets to engage them! We will read a book about the planets called, "8 Little Planets" by Chris Ferrie. Learners will be encouraged to share their knowledge, ask questions, and make connections about the text. They will learn fun facts about the planets in our solar...
Learners will practice their social skills by talking with friends and taking turns listening and speaking. Learners will practice counting skills and one to one correspondence. Learners will practice singing and rhyming. Learners will practice recognizing the letter "p" and the sound that goes with p. This builds knowledge of phonics. Learners will practice their creativity and fine motor skills by drawing.
