My goals for students are to enhance reading comprehension, foster awareness, and build confidence. Simultaneously, I aim to cultivate a joy for reading without fear of interpretation, creating an enriching and enjoyable learning experience.

詳細: ~ Unfinished reading comprehension questions and prompts become optional self-paced independent homework
~ Homework is optional and becomes the responsibility of the parent and learner
~ Answer keys for multiple-choice questions are released at the beginning of the following session
~ You'll receive a session summary and a PDF file containing all related materials at the END of each session (there will be a one-week delay for answer keys). The materials will be posted in the 'Classroom" page. 
Assessment

詳細: Informal: Informal assessments are a natural part of my teaching style. 

Formal: I end the reading session with multiple-choice reading comprehension questions. Learners will provide their answers privately through the ZOOM chat. I use this live ZOOM interaction to help learners apply comprehension and deductive reasoning in order to select an appropriate answer.

 Minimum 5th-grade reading proficiency required. Respectful behavior toward peers and the teacher is vital. Embrace an open mind, curiosity, and collaborative spirit. 

I will screenshare and provide all of the materials for each session. 

IMPORTANT: I do not provide any materials BEFORE the session. Learner's will receive the annotated copy of the text at the end of the 50-minute session.
