*サマーレビューキャンプ* 加速型4年生算数：10週間でフルカリキュラム

This class will cover all of 4th grade math over the course of 10 weeks. This class is meant for students who are either looking for a fast-paced review of all the standards or students who can keep up with an accelerated and enriched math curriculum. I believe math should be fun, engaging, hands-on, and connected to real world experiences. All students will be encouraged to participate and I will strive to create an environment where it is safe to not know and learn from mistakes. 

**Heading into summer, this is a great class for students who need a review of 4th grade math going into 5th grade!**

Here is what a typical week will look like:
Day 1: Introduce the concept using the "I do, we do, you do" model, Students will have the time to practice with support
Day 2: Go over the homework, practice activities. Students will be able to complete practice activities in partners or individually, while I support students needing assistance.
Day 3: Go over homework, number talk, problem solving type practice or activity

Week 1: Place value and number sense- numbers to the millions
Week 2: Multiplicative comparison and the multiplying by 1 digit numbers
Week 3: Multiplying by 2-digit numbers using multiple strategies
Week 4: Division with 1-digit divisors and remainders
Week 5: Fraction basics: equivalent fractions, comparing, and ordering fractions
Week 6: Adding, subtracting, and multiplying fractions
Week 7: Adding 1/10s and 1/100s, decimal basics
Week 8: Measurement conversions
Week 9: Area and perimeter
Week 10: Geometry: Classifying shapes, lines, and angles

**There will be a 2 week break in this summer's course. Students are often unavailable the week of the 4th of July and the teacher will be on vacation the following week. Miss Roxy will provide optional activities for students during the break.**
