Week 1Lesson 1JavaScript Classes and if/else statementsObjects - Editing the properties of the treasure chest objects by changing the code within their parent class. Conditions - Using an if / else condition to make the treasure chests transparent or not depending on proximity to the hero.Lesson 2Events and OperatorsEvents - Defining events in programming and using real life examples to understand the concept better. Operators - Using comparison operators and an "and" operator to set up the basics of the teleporting code.Lesson 3Conditions and CoordinatesEvents - Defining events in programming and using real life examples to understand the concept better. Conditions - Using an else condition to change what happens when the player clicks the mouse a second time. Coordinates - Coding the hero to teleport by setting their coordinates to match those of the exit portal.Lesson 4ChallengesAll of the Week 4 challenges will require students to draw on problem-solving and their general knowledge of Scratch. Other concepts demonstrated will vary depending on the challenge and how the child chooses to solve it. Below are some general ideas for what to look for in each challenge.
