Class Description: Summer Camp: Get Ready for 1st Grade! is designed to help incoming first-grade students prepare for their academic journey. This workshop is perfect for children who have completed kindergarten and are eager to learn new skills and gain knowledge that will help them excel in first grade. The children will be introduced to various subjects such as math, reading, writing, and science through a series of fun-filled activities. The activities will enhance the children's creativity, critical thinking, and social skills. During the camp, the children will engage in hands-on activities, games, and group exercises that will stimulate their minds and encourage them to think independently. In this class, children will learn: Math: Basic addition and subtraction, counting, and number recognition Reading: Phonics, sight words, and basic comprehension Writing: Tracing letters and basic writing skills Science: Basic concepts like plants, animals, and the environment Social Skills: Interacting with peers, sharing, and taking turns This Summer Camp is a great way to prepare your child for the academic challenges of first grade. By the end of the camp, your child will be ready to take on the new school year with confidence and enthusiasm.
