Lewis's enchanted world as we explore Prince Caspian in both its literary form and cinematic adaptation! 🏰 YOUR NARNIAN ITINERARY 🏰 Our royal council meets TWICE in one magical week: FIRST MEETING: THE CHRONICLES (BOOK DISCUSSION) Journey through C.S. Lewis's richly imagined world where talking animals, ancient magic, and noble quests await! We'll explore ancient Narnian ruins, decode mysterious appearances, examine heroic characters, uncover allegorical themes, and appreciate the author's timeless storytelling—all at our round table where every voice is valued like a true Narnian! ROYAL PROCLAMATION: Bring your favorite quote from the book (wise, humorous, or profound—all welcome!), most memorable scene, or character that captured your imagination. Sharing is optional but honors the great Lion's memory! Reading Options: Independent reading, audiobook listening, or parent read-alouds—all are noble ways to receive the chronicles! SECOND MEETING: THE VISION OF NARNIA (MOVIE DISCUSSION) After viewing the 2008 film adaptation, we'll gather in Aslan's How to compare journeys: Did the ancient Narnian forests appear as magical as you imagined? How did the film's epic battles compare to the book's descriptions? What changes did the filmmakers make to Caspian's quest for the throne? Which vision of Narnia felt more enchanting—page or screen? The book has been rated for ages 9+, but the movie is rated for ages 10+ because it is a little darker than the first movie.

Students will need a copy of each book (or an audiobook) and access to the movie. Students can read the book on their own, listen to an audiobook, or parents can read the book to their child.
