This workshop is all about learning how to use journaling to make reading and listening to lectures much more helpful. We will be introducing a number of self-regulating strategies to make this happen. This class is meant for any students who find taking notes difficult or who find that notes are not super helpful. I have a Master's Degree in Education and have been teaching and tutoring since 2004. I was a terrible studier when I was young and I aim to help students not be like me. I have spent considerable time teaching students how to improve their study habits and this is one of the best improvement strategies I've found.

Students will practice their note-taking journals with whatever work they are currently doing in school. If they don't have anything going on we will choose a topic to study so they can practice. Students should do at least 45 minutes of practice in between each class.授業以外に週あたり 1 - 2 時間の学習が期待されます
