✈️ Welcome Aboard Our Aerodynamic Exploration! ✈️
In this self-paced, flexible schedule class, we'll delve into the principles of flight through dynamic lessons. From understanding air pressure and lift to mastering the construction of paper airplanes and model planes, students will learn the science that keeps things flying, covering fundamental to advanced aerodynamics concepts.

🎯 Demystify Flight Science. 🎯
Students will not only absorb theoretical knowledge but also apply it through exciting hands-on projects—from simple paper airplanes to intricate paper plate planes. This class elevates students' understanding of physics, enhancing their problem-solving skills and sparking a lifelong curiosity about how things fly. Each lesson is an opportunity to become a young aeronautic engineer, teaching and sharing newfound knowledge with family and friends, fostering confidence and a passion for science!

🌟 What Makes the Self-Paced Schedule So Special? 🌟
My aerodynamics class is asynchronous, meaning there are no live sessions. Instead, students enjoy pre-recorded lessons, interactive quizzes, and engaging projects at their own pace. This format allows for:

👩‍🏫 About the Instructor
Hey there! I'm Ms. Jessica, and I'm super excited to take you on a fun ride through the amazing world of aerodynamics. My journey from being a web analyst to stepping into the classroom has been pretty wild. I've always been the curious type, fascinated by how things work, whether it's clicking through the internet or watching planes zoom across the sky. That curiosity? It led me right here, teaching awesome students like you.

Homeschooling my kids opened my eyes to the wonders (and, sure, the challenges) of learning at home. It taught me how to make lessons stick by actually doing hands-on stuff, not just talking about it.

Beside Outschool, I also teach STEM classes in person at private institutions and nonprofit organizations, which has been a fantastic way to meet students from all walks of life and learn that, yup, one size doesn't fit all when it comes to learning. My goal? To light up that spark of curiosity in you, make you fall in love with learning, and build up your confidence to tackle even the tricky stuff.

So, whether we're folding the coolest paper airplanes or figuring out why things fly, I'm here to cheer you on, answer your burning questions, and make sure we have a blast doing it. Ready to dive in and explore together? Let's do this!

🌈✈️🌈 Ready to embark on this aerodynamic adventure? Reach out with any questions or to get started. Excited to explore the skies with you!

Got time? Here is the full description:

Hello friends! I teach STEM with a sprinkle of art and tons of fun, along with engaging Mandarin Chinese courses.

📚 I hold a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Walsh College and previously worked as a web analyst for one of the nation's largest ad agencies. Additionally, I possess a certificate in Learning, Knowledge, and Human Development from the University of Illinois and a Classroom Strategies for Inquiry-Based Learning certificate from UTAustinX. I have collaborated with nonprofit STEM education organizations to develop top-notch classroom experiences. Besides Outschool, I teach part-time at a private school, bringing my passion for innovative and engaging education to in-person learning environments. During my free time, I dedicate myself to learning about how children learn, ensuring that my teaching methods are always up-to-date and effective.

🔬 STEM education can and should be enjoyable. Through special curriculums I have developed over the years working with children, my goal as an educator is to ignite a love for scientific inquiry and discovery in young minds. My passion for childhood development and human psychology drives me to create enriching and interactive learning experiences. I have extensive experience working with learners of all ages to improve their STEM skills. My focus is on helping children build a solid foundation in science and technology through arts and play, making learning both fun and effective.

🈵 In addition to my STEM courses, I offer self-paced and live Mandarin Chinese classes designed to develop fundamental communication skills. My Mandarin courses incorporate the same engaging, inquiry-based learning methods that I use in my STEM classes. With video lessons, digital flashcards, quiz games, and guided reviews, I make learning Mandarin fun and interactive. By integrating STEM-inspired techniques, I ensure that students not only master the language but also develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

When I'm not teaching on Outschool, you can find me homeschooling my child, tinkering with projects, teaching other students, or participating in teacher training.

🐶 Fun facts about me: I have a beagle, and she loves to be in class with me. Maybe you will get to meet her.
