Our world is full of stressors, even for our little ones.  But through breathing we can feel more relaxed and calm.  Together we will transform into dolphins, ninjas, and even redwood trees and breathe!   With Christopher Willard’s book, Alphabreath, we will have fun, be silly, and most importantly, learn to breathe.  We will discuss the benefits of breathing and when it’s a good time to breathe.  Learners will have an opportunity to share their favorite breath we learn. Come join me for some silly, mindful, fun and enjoy a good book together!

Hello Families!  Welcome to Outschool!

My name is Ms. Jennifer and I am excited to learn with your child!  I love teaching reading, writing, math, and science. I have a Master’s degree from the University of Florida (Go Gators!) and hold a FL Teaching Certificate.  I have 15 years of experience in the classroom mostly in 2nd-5th grade and a few years in high school ESL.   I have also taught for a homeschool group and homeschool my high school daughter.

I am so excited to share my love of learning with your child to help them see that learning can be fun!  I became a teacher to see the smile on a child’s face when something hard just became easy.  

When I’m not teaching, I love spending time outdoors with my family, reading, traveling, gardening (or at least trying to), and learning new things!  I look forward to meeting your learner in the classroom.  Happy Learning!
