In this one-time class, we are going to listen and learn from the story, Eyes That Weave to the World's Wonders written by Joanna Ho (with permission from HarperCollins Children’s Books). This heartfelt picture book tells the story of an Asian child adopted by an American family, who learns to embrace and celebrate her inner self. Through her journey, she discovers the beauty of her unique identity, blending her cultural heritage with the love of her family, and finds strength in who she truly is. After we finish the story, students will complete a creative drawing and writing activity to celebrate what makes them special and unique!
