Each week learners will hear the story of an event that happened during the week of the class in history, along with the causes and/or effects of that event and it's effect on the world in general. Events will be from a variety of places and countries, and subjects from Pop Culture to Sports, to Military history and everything in between. If time allows they will also learn about other events that happened during the week in history as well. Upcoming classes and topics covered: Week of March 3: The Alamo Week of March 10: Death of Julius Caesar Week of March 17: Invasion of Iraq Week of March 24: End of Vietnam War Week of March 31: NO CLASS teacher will upload video for lesson on Crimean War Week of April 7: First Modern Olympics Week of April 14: Tiananmen Square #academic

This class will cover a wide variety of topics. Some may be controversial from a variety of viewpoints. They will be presented in a factual manner, and any violence will be attempted to tone down. I love history and learning about how people lived during different times. I like to do research into different events and the impact they had on the world. I believe we need to learn from the past and what happened in order to impact the future. One of my favorite quotes is "Those who don't learn from History are doomed to repeat it" I want to pass that on to my learners so they will also learn and impact the world. I teach history classes on Outschool in a variety of formats and subjects. In this class I want learners to hear what really happened so they can form their own opinions and learn from the past. I welcome their insight into the events and questions about what happened, and it's effect on the world today.レビュー
