In this summer camp we will discuss what the stock market is and the what the various markets are to trade on. The learner will be introduced to a handful of terms used in the market. We will also discuss different types of stock trading and how you can use them to meet your goals. The student will learn how to read a stock chart. We will learn about when to buy and when to sell with indicators. How to draw support and resistance lines on our charts. We will learn how to use a screener/scanner to find stocks to trade. We will setup a trading plan so we know what we are doing. The last class will talk about long term investing, compound interest and will have a section for the students to talk about any stock questions they have. If there are know questions or practice at the end this class may be shorter than others. This will be a lecture style and interactive discussion progressing into classes with primarily activities for young users into the stock market.
